Italian pianist and jazz singer, she graduated in piano at the San Pietro Conservatory in Majella in Naples.
Her interest and study for jazz music then begins in Rome in the branch office of the Philharmonic Academy of Bologna with Maestro Elio Polizzi with whom he thoroughly studied Film Music and Arrangement in all musical styles. In 2000 she will be the lead singer and pianist of the 'Academy Orchestra of Rome for the concert entitled "The wonderful melodies of film music held in the Villa Borghese in Rome, directed by Maestro E.Polizzi. In the same year she worked as a jazz pianist at the Cafe Concerto Presutti of Helbronn (Germany). In 2002 she took part in a competition dedicated to Michel Petrucciani and wins an evening in Around Midnight jazz club in Naples the best soloist. In 2003 she collaborated with N.Daniele songwriter in his jazz training for the tour "A modo mio" in jazz clubs and Neapolitan in the Italian squares.

In 2005 he released his first album, "Unclosed", with the collaboration of Valeria Frontone as a music author and texts and Sergio Fusaro as arranger, with a concert presentation at the Feltrinelli bookshop in Naples. In June 2005, she held two concerts at the Teatro Mediterraneo of Naples on the occasion of the Fair of the House with S.Fusaro on bass and D.Benvenuto on drums. In August 2005 shows the so-called "Unclosed" with a concert at the ancient cloister of the Conservatory of Taranto for "Province Summer 2005", with S.Fusaro and D.Guidobaldi.
In 2006 she participates in the MclRoy Female Seminary of Berkley in Boston for Umbria Jazz 2006 (Perugia), which is chosen for the final concert. In 2007 she graduates in Jazz Music with a major in singing under the guidance of the singer and Cinzia Spata teacher at the Conservatory N. Piccinni of Bari, with a project dedicated to John Coltrane.
In January 2009, she released her second album "Bluexperience", produced by the Smile Records Label, a disc made of original and standard jazz songs where Ivana talks about herself with multiple ensembles, through different styles and sounds. The disc boasts the collaboration with the great trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso and with many other musicians of the Italian jazz scene.
Since 2011 she has been pianist and chorister of an ensamble called Penny Ladies in a project dedicated to the Beatles, making their own original arreangements, with whom he has held concerts in various European international festivals: Liverpool, Ohuistream (Normandy), Tampere (Finland), Marseille (France).
In 2012 she won the national "Big Band Singers" contest in collaboration with Felt and The House of jazz in Rome, an award which will record a disc with the orchestra for a new project.
In 2016 she's the author of the project "DO NOT CARE" - Open Jazz Quartet - which features original songs and standards jazz arranged by the musician Umberto Muselli and that will be included in the same CD produced by the author in January 2017, in collaboration with Cultural Association "Santa Cecilia" of Naples. The project relies on the valuable contribution of Stefano Costanzo (drums), Umberto Lepore (bass) and Umberto Muselli (piano, tenor saxophone and rhodes). Currently she is professor and director of the modern singing lessons, jazz and piano music school Music Pole of Naples, and Professor of Piano for the Ministry of Education.
In 2019 he began the collaboration with the Neapolitan bassist, double bass player and author Mario Mazzaro with whom he created, thanks to his beautiful arrangement ideas, a project dedicated to A.C. Jobim, genius of Brazilian music.
Hence the meeting in April 2021 with the talented Neapolitan drummer Salvatore Rainone, which determines the recording of the VIVO SONHANDO project, the title of a piece by Jobim, which inspired the project, released with the Roman label AlfaMusic and distributed from Egea and Believe France.
She is currently teacher and director of modern singing, jazz, piano and ensemble music courses at the Music Pole music school in Naples and piano teacher for the Ministry of Education.
